Popular TikTok Star ‘Disturbing’ Dies After Seizure During Live Broadcast in Lagos

The social media community has been plunged into mourning following the tragic death of popular Nigerian TikToker known as ‘Disturbing’, who passed away after suffering a seizure during a live stream at his home in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Omega TV UK can confirm that the incident occurred on Thursday while the entertainer — also known locally as ‘Buckle’ — was interacting with his followers. Disturbing, a respected cobbler and budding musician in his community, was well-known for his activism, particularly his vocal support for the Justice for Mohbad movement.
A distressing video circulating on social media captures the final moments of the TikToker, showing him visibly agitated before collapsing suddenly during the live session. Witnesses and neighbours rushed to his aid but were unable to prevent the tragic outcome.
In a heartfelt post on TikTok, his wife, Omowunmi, detailed the painful sequence of events. She revealed that her husband suffered a seizure, fell, and struck his head on a stone near him, causing severe bleeding.
“Yesterday morning, my husband was live on TikTok while I was cooking in the kitchen. Suddenly, he had a seizure, fell, and hit his head. Some neighbours and a young boy passing by noticed and started pouring water on him, thinking he had merely fainted. The boy ran to call me,” she explained tearfully.
Despite being rushed to hospital and placed on oxygen, efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead early Friday morning.
Omowunmi further clarified that this was not his first seizure. She disclosed that her late husband had a medical history of seizures and had been undergoing treatment. She also dismissed rumours of a spiritual attack being responsible for his death.
“The last seizure he had was in February. It was a health condition he battled with. If I hadn’t been in the kitchen, I could have caught him when it happened. People saying it was spiritual are wrong — it’s a purely medical issue,” she stated.
The death of Disturbing has sent shockwaves across social media, with fans and fellow creators expressing their grief and paying tribute to a man many described as vibrant, talented, and deeply compassionate.
