ctress Ini Edo has put the records straight regarding the recent rumors on her alleged marriage.
Rumors started in September 2024, when Ini Edo took to her social media and posted a picture of herself in a traditional Efik bride attire and a love-themed caption that quickly sent the tongues of her fans wagging for an engagement.
In an interview with Premium Times recently, however, the actress said the photo was to advertise her forthcoming four-part series, My Fairytale Wedding, and not an engagement notice.
When asked if she envisioned a real-life fairytale wedding in her future, Ini Edo explained that marriage is no longer a priority for her. “I’m not crazy about marriage; I’m crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points,” she stated. According to Daily Post, she had been earlier married to a Nigerian-American businessman, Philip Ehiagwina, whom she married in 2008 but separated from through divorce in 2014.
