Egypt Retrieves Three Antiquities from Germany

Egypt retrieved three ancient antiquities from Germany, amid efforts by the government to recover cultural treasures stolen or smuggled out of the country.
Recovered items include the skull and the hand of the gold-plated mummy, which were part of the collection exhibited in excess of more than 30 years at the Museum of Art in Hamburg.
These two artifacts have been dated over 2,000 years before Christ. An ancient Egyptian amulet in the form of the symbol Ankh, dated to have originated from 600 BC, was confiscated at Frankfurt Airport as it was smuggled from the United Kingdom.
