Gary Barlow has been announced as the latest act performing at a series of forest concerts next summer.
Forestry England announced on Monday the Take That singer-songwriter would perform a headline show on 21 June at High Lodge near Thetford.
Forest Live is a series of concerts staged in woodlands across the country.
Barlow will also be performing a homecoming gig at Cheshire’s Forestry England Delamere on 4 June as part of his solo Songbook Tour.
Both as part of Take That and as a solo artist, Barlow has amassed 24 top-10 hits, with 13 UK number ones under his belt.
Barlow has also co-written and produced music for other artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams.
Thetford will also host Rag’n’Bone Man, James (with support from Shed Seven) and The Script this summer, with more acts to be announced.
Forestry England uses the money raised by Forest Live to maintain 1,500 woods and forests around the country, plant trees and continue their conservation work.
Rhodri Jones, national events programme manager at Forestry England said: “Forest Live is presented in the heart of our nation’s forests and raises vital funds for the work that we do to preserve and maintain these natural areas for everyone to enjoy.”
In 2023, Forestry England planted 7.4 million trees, with more than two million people attending the Forest Live gigs over the past 23 years.
Tickets for the High Lodge concert will go on sale 29 November.
